Sexual addictions have been around since almost the beginning of time. They existed in the ancient world to help bring its end through the flood. The act of “Sodomy” was named for one of two cities wiped off the face of the earth for their perversions. God will not tolerate uncontrolled lusts forever; they are a scourge that destroys every person and society that indulge them. If we won’t deal with them, He will!
Mankind at the time of the flood, and later, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed as “example[s] to those who would live ungodly thereafter” (II Peter 2:6). Yet even then, God demonstrated His desire and ability to deliver virtuous men like Noah and Lot, along with their families. Currently, He's now providing a way out of today’s flood of filth into moral-excellence and self-control. The problem is, most of us don’t understand that rescue and victory is ours for the taking—through God’s WORD, Christ’s blood, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. #virtuousmengroup
